As a graduate of Ateneo De Davao University, Rosalinda Cantoja-Veloria obtained a degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accounting. Her education had allowed her to properly manage their family’s fishing company for 20 years. In 2013 she added Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Appraiser to her credentials.

As an astute entrepreneur, Rosalinda Cantoja-Veloria have built successful businesses over the years and these have allowed her to fund and sustain her philanthropic activities. In 2017, she was given the privilege of entry to the” Rotary Club of Greater Gensan”. With honor, she accepted the invitation and became part of a group of outstanding woman whom she shares the same benevolent intentions for their fellow Filipinos especially the ones stricken with disease, calamity and poverty.

Ever since she was young, Rosalinda Cantoja-Veloria have been exposed to philanthropic activities initiated by her beloved father Robert Cantoja, a successful entrepreneur and renowned leader in Talomo, Davao City. She would participate in fund raising programs and feeding programs given to the less fortunate within her hometown, be it through her father’s initiative or the sense of care and concern for the welfare of others in their community; “God blesses people so they too could bless others”, he always said.

After her father died, Rosalinda became more adamant in practicing her father’s teachings believing that in a way, it would keep his memories alive. And so, for several times in a year, Rosalinda have maintained the tradition of feeding children, and providing them with toys and school supplies.

Even with the considerable amount of time and resources that Rosalinda have full heartedly given to the less fortunate over the years, she felt that there are still more that can be done. She envisioned an ambitious act of benevolence that doesn’t only provide monetary assistance but has the potential to improve her fellow Filipino’s living conditions that is self-sustaining in longevity.
